Privacy Policy
Midx is a creator workspace for connecting a social publishing account, preparing video uploads, sending selected videos through authorized platform integrations, and monitoring upload status. This policy explains what data the service collects and why.
Information we collect
- Connected account profile: account identifier, username, nickname/display name, avatar URL, authorized scopes, connection time, and last seen time.
- Upload activity: upload mode, file name, file size, MIME type, caption/title, selected privacy level, selected cover timestamp, platform publish ID, upload status, timestamps, and technical error codes/messages.
- Authentication data: access tokens and refresh tokens needed to keep a connected account working. These are stored encrypted in our database and are not shown in the frontend or admin dashboard.
- Technical data: basic operational information needed to run the service, troubleshoot errors, protect the service, and improve reliability.
How we use data
- To keep your account connection active after you authorize Midx.
- To send user-selected videos and post settings to the connected platform.
- To avoid asking you to reconnect every day when short-lived access tokens expire.
- To show internal service information such as users, recent uploads, status history, and failures in our private admin dashboard.
- To debug upload issues and improve the product over time.
Security
Sensitive connection tokens are encrypted before being stored. Raw secrets, access tokens, refresh tokens, and client credentials are not intentionally exposed in public pages or the admin dashboard.
What we do not do
- We do not sell connected account data.
- We do not publish content without an authorized user flow.
- We do not present ourselves as the connected platform provider.
- We do not use collected data for unrelated advertising products.
Storage and deletion
The service runs on backend provider services, including backend functions and database database storage. You can log out to clear your browser session. A self-serve disconnect/delete flow will be added later; for now, contact us to remove service data.
